Cool as usual.

As I recall isn't the area around Mount Shasta weird or occult in some ways?

Something? Yes. I have a weird in-law that lives there.

Don't know about that but if you wander too far afield there you run the risk of being shot by an illegal marijuana grower. That's weird enough for me.

TATTOOED MUMMIES OF CENTRAL ASIA
"Today the ancient Chinese texts which speak of legendary tall people with red hair and green eyes (formerly denigrated as mere "myths") are being reinterpreted. They are not just imaginary tales as has been assumed until recently, but they tell of the very real Tocharian-branch Indo-European people, relatives of the Celts and Scythians..."
http://www.zealand.org.nz/history.htm
"Standing stones and other megalithic structures like stone dome-shaped houses have been found in New Zealand, and more interestingly - red, brown, and blonde-haired Indo-European skeletons have been found in burial caves. Long, long, long before traditionally they should have been in the country!"

There's all sorts of stories, some speculation etc. Interesting.

The newrby town of "Weed" is aptly named.

The Area has become a "New Age" haven.

Hmmmm. My wife was raised in a little town very near Lovelock, NV, the Se-Te-Cah stomping grounds. Not far away there's a little village named Weed Heights. Coincidence? I think not!

When we first bumped into each other out here I had tried to relay this story but could never find the reference that I had gotten it from. Everyone thought I was talking about spirit cave man and I have to admit that I was starting to think that I had misunderstood something and just made it up...

Now maybe I can find the original article I had read that included some of the "mythology" that was passed down about these people.

Official archeology refused to take an interest.

Any thoughts on why? I can't imagine an agenda of some kind, but maybe I'm not up to speed on such things.
