President Bush's Message to the Grassroots: "I Need You"
Bush Team Leaders ^ | 10/28/03 | President George W. Bush

Posted on 10/28/2003 1:09:13 PM PST by Marcus Alonzo Hanna

Dear Republican,

Over the last few months, Laura and I have traveled the country and have been humbled by the enthusiastic support we have been given.

Our country has faced many challenges in the last two and half years and we are meeting these challenges at home and abroad. We're defeating the enemies of freedom. And at the same time, we're confronting challenges to build prosperity for our nation and a more compassionate society.

Every test has revealed the true character of America. And no one in the world can doubt the spirit and will and strength of the American people.

We are meeting the challenges of our time but there is much more to be done and I need your support. Will you join me in these efforts by volunteering for my re-election campaign as a Bush Team Leader?

http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SignUp/

As a Bush Team Leader you will be asked to help by volunteering at local events, hosting your own events, registering new voters, turning out voters on Election Day and more. Most importantly, you will be asked to recruit more Bush Team Leaders to help us win in November 2004. Please sign up to be a part of this important effort today.

The challenges we face cannot be met with timid actions or bitter words. They will be overcome with optimism and resolve and confidence in the ideals of America.

We are acting to advance human freedom and liberty and making the world and America more secure. We took action to create jobs and get the economy growing again.

We acted on principle. You did not send me to this office to mark time. You sent me here to restore dignity and honor to the White House and to help build a safe and prosperous and caring nation. Will you join me in this effort by becoming a Bush Team Leader and volunteer your time?

http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SignUp/

I want to thank you for the work that you will do in the months to come. There is no question in my mind that with your help we are laying the foundation to win a great victory in November of 2004.

Sincerely,

George W. Bush

P.S. Again, thank you for making my campaign strong at the grassroots level all across the country. I am grateful to the over 300,000 Americans that have contributed to my campaign and the millions more who've signed up on the campaign email list. And I am grateful to everyone that chooses to volunteer in support of this effort. I need you to make certain your friends and family register to vote. I need you to make phone calls, send emails, help organize rallies, put up signs, and get out the vote. I need you to volunteer in my campaign today.

Just received this e-mail from President Bush! It's so great to see him energized and ready to take the fight to the Dems -- and he needs our help!

If you haven't gotten this e-mail or signed yet as a Bush Team Leader (different than GOP Team Leader), what are you waiting for? Sign up!

Did GW's people actually title the email "Dear Republican"?

Also, if he signs a renewal of the AWB, I won't be voting for him, much less volunteering.

I would suggest that this email should be sent to the illegals in this country. He seems to favor them over the working middle class of America. Let them contribute and support, I'm not.

Well yaaa-ah...

1) He's probably only sending these to registered Republicans, and

2) You expect a mail merge, so you get one addressed only to you?

--Last count, HOW many Republicans are there in the entire Nation, again???

Dear Mr. President,
We need you too. We need you to remember who elected you. It wasn't the RATs - so lose the RAT policies. You have done a great job in many areas in very trying circumstances. How's about you 1) enforce our immigration laws 2) remember that the 2nd Amendment doesn't allow the 99% of the gun laws on the books 3) cut spending? Not much to ask if you need us.

Don't let the naysayers let you down.

If they prefer to vote Democrat (who also won't address their issues), there is nothing we can do about it.

Anyway, thanks for posting this. I've signed on for helping in another manner but have passed this site along to some friends.

Man, you people are just a bunch of bright-eyed optimists, aren't you?

Bring on the bashing of me - because I AM voting for George W. Bush, and I'm proud of it.

For as many complaints as you people have, there are four times as many pluses.

--What...we would have been better off with Gore or now, one of the Nine?

get serious

Dear President Bush:

Let the "Assault" Weapons Ban sunset. Deport illegal aliens. Close the borders. Privatize what's left of "social security." Then FReepmail me and we can talk.

Seems inspiring posts like these always attrack the nay-sayers...who will they support, Nikita Dean? Queen Hillary?

I am for Bush, and once we get our VA elections behind us, my next project is getting Bush re-elected in 2004.

Go to http://www.georgewbush.com to find a link for some great Bush items...bumper stickers, T-shirts, etc.

Let's all order a few bumper stickers or statics and get them on our cars NOW to get the word out!!

No, I will not vote for him again. He has flatly refused to do any thing about our borders, north and south, refused to address the illegal aliens problems in this country, talks about amnesty against the wishes of 70% of Americans. If 70% of Americans that want something done about this problem, vote against him, he will become a 1 term President, same as his dad.
And before I get flamed, do some research on states, see how many are going to have water rationing, some in 2 years.
Check out what the mass immigration has done to the open spaces in states. Check out how much it costs the taxpayers, to house the criminal illegals in our prisons and jails. The Federal Government pays part of this, but where does the Federal Government get their money, sorry, it comes from you and me, good old taxpayer.
Check out how the schools are so over crowded by the children of illegal aliens, that no child gets the education they are entitled to.
If President Bush would start doing something positive, no amnesty, deport the illegals, then he would get the 70%vote of Americans. This is the major issue, not the econmy, not the war, so if you and the President care about him getting re-elected, pass this on to him.

You and the others are cutting off your nose to spite your face.

George W. Bush is not a perfect President, nor is he a perfect man.

But he is a good President and he is a good man.
