But I would posit that perhaps Ramaswamy signifies something more. If you are a youngish person looking to get into politics or some other career of public renown, it’s only natural that you would model yourself on the people in your lifetime who have had ostentatious success in those areas, people like Obama and Trump and Musk. It seems likely that, in the future, we will see a lot more politicians like Vivek Ramaswamy.

Vivek is a radical leftist. We are witnessing the funeral procession of the old Republican Party.
The requirements for running for high office are DIFFERENT than the requirements for citizenship. They are NOT the same. They are more stringent for qualification to run for and hold high office. It is possible to be a US citizen even if one or both of your parents are not citizens, but you cannot qualify to run for or hold high office unless both parents are in fact US citizens.
Egomaniac demagogues with no principles? No thanks.
The problem is the voters who want this and think that each new ranting politician is going to be their savior.
I think Obama started this, with the encouragement of the Democratic Party, which realized that building a cult of personality around him was the way to go.
But politicians are not saviors. I just want to know their policies and if I think they are capable of carrying them out. I’m not looking for a Great Leader to worship, but evidently a lot of other Americans are.
You are good example of low information voter.
Have you read Soros donation list.
It’s all that matters
