The NFL will have messages in support of Black Lives Matter and racial justice such as “End Racism” and “It Takes All of Us” displayed on players’ helmets and on playing fields during the opening games of the 2020 season.
Names of some black victims will also be stamped on players’ helmets.
“The NFL informed clubs today of plans to amplify its social justice initiatives, including helmet decals and signage in end zones for kickoff games and club home openers,” NFL reporter Tom Pelissero wrote on Twitter.

Does anyone actually watch football any more? I see a few minutes of it when I order my Wick’s pizza in the sports bar section, but that’s about it.

If they really want to honor BLM at least some of the messages need to be in Ebonics.
Using racist English just promotes the insensitivity and incredulity of racism. While they are at it, the sport needs to be far more inclusive of LGBTQ players, female players, and those with disabilities. It’s time we moved on from scores to a higher purpose, inclusivity and diversity. Tear down the score board, raise up to a higher purpose!

I guess it makes sense that the National Felon League gets in bed with the Burn Loot Murder crowd. Syria needs rebuilding and repopulating, can we send them there??
In one way this is a plus.
It will increase the pool of voters who will be part of the biggest backlash in US history, on November 3rd.
So, the NFL is supporting Black Lives Matter, Inc.’s communist goals? That means merit and winning doesn’t matter. I’m 63. I used to play football. Reckon the NFL will walk the walk and not just talk the talk and sign me with a big fat multi-million dollar contract to play OLB??????
I didn’t think so. They need to carefully refine the message they are sending. The way it stands now, I have a lot of boycotting to do . . . against the NFL AND its advertisers.
