CO is one of the renegade states trying to do an end run around the Constitution by passing a state law (that will be overturned) that has its electors vote for the winner of the national popular vote rather than the winner of the popular vote among Coloradans.
Good news is Coloradans are fighting back:
Challenge of national popular vote compact makes Colorados 2020 ballot

Electors don’t meet until December 2020. So a successful challenge will put the kibosh on state lawmakers who are probably stoned and hallucinating of ultimate universal power (just kidding but plausibly true).
From the article linked above:
“Another wrinkle in the debate over the Electoral College is a decision this month from a federal appeals court. The 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that three presidential electors from Colorado were unconstitutionally forced to cast their votes for Hillary Clinton in 2016.”
CO has 9 electors so it’s nothing to sneeze at. My guess is the President has his campaign strategically setting the timing of his rallies and CO is on the schedule for later.
I hope so. I would really like to attend one. I spent the Reagan years in the military but never got to meet the man or attend one of his events in person. I wish I had had that opportunity. I never thought I would want to meet another president as much, but I really would like to see Trump in person. No one in govt has made me feel so motivated in the last 30 years.
