House Democrats took their first concrete steps in the impeachment investigation of President Trump on Friday, issuing subpoenas demanding documents from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and scheduling legal depositions for other State Department officials.
At the end of a stormy week of revelation and recrimination, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi framed the impeachment inquiry as a somber moment for a divided nation.
“This is no cause for any joy,” she said on MSNBC.
At the White House, a senior administration official confirmed a key detail from the unidentified CIA whistleblower who has accused Trump of abusing the power of his office. The official acknowledged that a record of the Trump phone call that is now at the center of the impeachment inquiry had been sealed away in a highly classified system at the direction of Trump’s National Security Council lawyers.

Unless Schiff gave her a heads up about what was coming if it's true, and I believe it is, that he was working with the leaker (so-called whistleblower) to set up the President.
Don't know about Biden, but Biden's former speechwriter and democrat party official who was also a natural gas development businessman died somewhat unexpectedly in June 2017. His name was Dennis Langley. A few years before his death Langley stated that he had been doing work in Ukraine at the request of the Obama state department and CIA. Recall that Biden offered to help the Ukrainians by sending Americans over to help them develop the natufal gas business.
If investigating a presidential candidate is now considered interfering with an election, the House Democrats impeachment inquiry is interfering with the 2020 election.
Only concrete involved in the impeachment deal is the wash tub the democrats placed their feet in,river swim to ensue the party is over.

The DEM narrative is that Pelosi is till entitled to get classified info in advance (Gang of 8).
This narrative does not hold water. The call record was protected by executive privilege. Nobody is the executive department is allowed to give it to Gang of 8 until privilege is waived, and the call contains NOTHING that merits congressional attention.
That's the point. As Nixon famously said, "it's not a crime when we do it."
