No allegations, no protesters, no public opinion poll showing Brett Kavanaugh is the most unpopular person to be elevated to the nation’s highest court in recent history was going to stop them.

What polls? The polls I saw showed that 60% wanted him confirmed, assuming the FBI came back with no new information.

The author is correct in a sense. There was no public opinion poll showing Brett Kavanaugh is the most unpopular person to be elevated to the nation’s highest court in recent history. So no public opinion poll showing Brett Kavanaugh is the most unpopular person to be elevated to the nation’s highest court in recent history was going to stop the Republicans as it did not exist.
