MORNING JOE: Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) discusses NYT reporting on Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein as well as the latest details involving misconduct allegations against President Trump's Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh.

SENATOR BLUMENTHAL (D-CT): We're talking about a lifetime appointment to the nation's highest court that will make a real difference in real people's lives for generations, literally generations to come with this appointment. And so we have a constitutional duty to get to the bottom of these allegations. They are serious, and credible, and now the person with the most knowledge about them, namely Judge Brett Kavanaugh has a responsibility to come forward with evidence to rebut them. They have control over whether to have an investigation...

NOAH ROTHMAN, COMMENTARY MAGAZINE: Senator, your colleague, Senator Mazie Hirono over the weekend was asked whether the presumption of innocence was due to Brett Kavanaugh. She replied by saying, 'I take his entire philosophy,' essentially saying his judicial philosophy also formed her opinion about whether or not these events occurred as alleged by these two accusers....

Just like it’s Blumenthal’s responsibility to prove he didn’t steal the valor earned by our troops who served in combat during the Vietnam war.

Blumenthal has clearly put politics above our Constitution, above the welfare of American citizens and above any sense of personal honor and decency. He is a disgrace to himself, to his family, to the United States Senate and to our Republic ... not just because of what he is doing and saying, but because he knows what he is doing and saying is wrong ... dead wrong in every respect.

I just going to accuse him of Murdering UConn football. The moron sued the ACC because they decided to invite Boston College to the ACC..I doubt the ACC ever would invite UConn to join...(personally I’d rather be in the Big 10)

Unfortunately, he was. That is when he decided to sue the ACC, because the ACC invited Boston College and Miami and VaTech (all member of the BigEast basketball conference). He said it will harm UCONN athletics...no, his interference did...
