Vanity - Senator, John McCain should resign and retire!!!

Posted on 07/17/2017 6:42:51 AM PDT by JLAGRAYFOX

The USA Senate should never have its urgent business held up by an aging & ailing Senator. Senator, John McCain, Arizona, who is now not sound of mind or body, should gracefully remove himself from the Senate by resigning immediately and retiring to an "Old Age" home, where he rightfully belongs.

The Governor of Arizona, under law should immediately appoint a replacement to serve out the unexpired term of the failing Senator McCain. End of story.

I don’t like him but it’s his call. The Senate should not be held up by him, nor any other senator.

“What good is a Republican majority???”

What good are Republicans? We should know all of this by now.

Both parties are corrupt and corrupting.

Isakson returns to D.C. and casts `tie-breaking' vote - March 30, 2017

Sen. Mark Kirk was understandably absent in 2012 after suffering a debilitating stroke, and missed an entire year's worth of votes. Similarly, Sen. Tim Johnson was prevented from voting after suffering from a brain hemorrhage in 2006. Sen. Jay Rockefeller had back surgery in 2006, causing a spike of missed votes.

You are 100% correct. Bottom line...Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is truly, in his heart of hearts both a Trump hater and full blown “Never Trumper”. These low life Republicans, like McConnell, Ryan, McCain, Corker, Collins, etc., have openly opposed our elected and chosen by the people, POTUS, Trump, the American people and, the entire American nation.

Do you really think the Democrat Senate & House leadership would tolerate renegade members for one minute? When their leadership outlines what they will be voting on, every elected Democrat Senator or House member follows suit to the leaders voting orders. End of story!!!

He is way past his time to retire. Why does the senate have to postpone its decision on health care until this guy is available? especially when he will probably not vote for it.

repeal and let things revert back to the way it was before the magic negro took office

Unfortunately, “NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!” McCain’s ego is too big for him to step down.

The guy is such an egomaniac, the only way he’ll resign is on a stretcher.

Just shows McCain is all about ego. He should step down for many reasons. There doesn’t seem to be a real positive reason to stay on. McCain has been a huge obstacle for Conservatives. Eliminate him. Declare him unfit.

John McCain should have retired in 2006 after his first failed amnesty attempt.

He proved he was on the side of illegal aliens and against the citizens and the rule of law.

Yes. Both parties are deeply flawed and compromised.
The last big election forced me to acknowledge this.
Maybe the GOP tendencies of self defeat, inhibition and lying to constituents were always there, but not to the degree we find it today.

But he’s a hero.

If, as the story is told, he was offered early release by the North Vietnamese in exchange for some statements and refused, he was indeed a hero. That was then; this is now. He is doing more harm than good at this point and should be gracefully retired.

This is certainly the worst I’ve seen it in my lifetime. GOP support for Reagan was grudging and lukewarm, but not the open animosity and sabotage we see today. May have been that way behind the scenes, besides Bush.

I’m too young to remember the Goldwater candidacy. It may have been that bad as to Goldwater, but not the party as a whole.

Yeah, this seems to be a nadir.

This whole thing is waaay to convenient to be coincidence. McCain hates Trump. He gets it both ways if he doesn't vote against McConnell on the health care bill and still gets to prevent it from passing. At his age, if the condition is such that he has a long recovery time, the 'pub "leadership" should be doing whatever it takes to get him to resign.

He's been the globalist's most useful tool since he was propped into the status of "unstoppable frontrunner" and given the nomination. He lost on purpose. Now he can grind the US Senate to a halt? Oh, and is "sympathy" going to stop meaningful investigation into his arming ISIS and into that fake dossier about DJT?

Is that enough reasons why he should resign or be forced out?)

The Senator’s health has declined to the point he cannot fulfill his duties of office, and medically he is greatly incapacitated. The doctors can write all the excuses from attending the Senate they want, but the fact remains, he is unable to perform.

Even while lying on a gurney in the well of the Senate.

Retirement years can be the best time ever spent in a lifetime, preparing for what is to be the greatest adventure of all, the entry into the afterlife.
