SCARBOROUGH: What about when Lindsey Graham said on "Meet the Press" that when the president says let's just forgive and forget on the cyber theft, that he's actually weakening the presidency. Do you agree with that also?

TOOMEY: I do. I think look the meeting with Putin I think was a big disappointment. After a great speech in Warsaw which we were hoping for, waiting for, we got it. And that meeting with Putin was a problem.

SCARBOROUGH: What was your biggest--?

TOOMEY: On many levels.

SCARBOROUGH: What was your biggest concern about it?

(snip)

TOOMEY: I think the biggest concern is Vladimir Putin needed to come away with that meeting, from that meeting understanding that he's going to have to pay a price for his aggression in Crimea, for his aggression in Ukraine--

BRZEZINSKI: Right.

TOOMEY: --for this aggression in the American elections. And that there's a president who let him know squarely, you're going to pay a price.......

Now fixed title: GOP Sen. Pat "Gun Control" Toomey Is "A Problem... On Many Levels"

Do you know why Trump won, Sen. Toomey?

In the first place, Trump would have rejected the premise that "Lindsey Graham said on "Meet the Press" that when the president says let's just forgive and forget on the cyber theft".

"Democrat" Sen. Lindsey Graham put words into Trump mouth that Trump never said, and you took Graham's words as gospel.

Secondly, until and unless you sat in the Trump-Putin meeting, you don't know what's really going on. So you rely on media hearsays to go on MSNBC to beg their forgiveness.

You weak-minded fool just appeared to be the worst kind of weasel, and my apology to weasels in general.

Modern politics is generally all about the Ruling Party vs the Opposition Party. Once upon a time, people referred to “the loyal opposition”.

America is somewhat unique today in that we have 2 Opposition Parties, and neither one seems especially loyal to American interests.

It’s you and others like you who are weakening the presidency AND the country, Senator.

But you’re too blind - or corrupt - to see it.

Since the Crimea was a vital straegic possession of Russia since Catherine the Great, and since the US was showing its agression to Russia by trying to move Ukraine under the NATO umbrella, thereby making Crimea part of the western alliance system and the US empire, the Russians have an argument that they need to act to maintain their own access to warm-water ports, an access they had since before the US was even a country.

Like it or not Crimea is a vital interest of Russia, you know, the kind you use nuclear weapons to defend.

But maybe Pat Toomey wants to draw Toomey's red line in the sand and back us into either nuclear war with Russia or backing down and looking as much a simpering fool as Obama.

Also, just in case you have forgotten -

Pat Toomey RODE the Trump Train coattail to his re-election bid in 2016.

Toomey himself tried several times to distance himself from Trump in 2016, while the other side tried to paint him as a Trump stooge.

On his own merit, what else is there to recommend Toomey?

GOP Sen. Pat Toomey: Trump's Meeting With Putin Is "A Problem... On Many Levels"

Would Toomey rather that we cut all communications with the russians? The next step is WAR.

One of the problems with the swamp (cesspool) that is DC, is that even those that are supposed to be semi-good guys and morons and crooks.

The meeting was perfectly fine. These Senators are liars and cowards, or worse. I’m sorry but the GOP is not fit to lead they need to be replaced.

Mark this Benedict Arnold. He should be primaried because he is undermining the agenda that Pres. Trump was elected to put in place for his supporters.

I always wondered why it took this idiot so many years to finally get elected to some office, he tried for many years. I can’t believe I ever voted for him when I lived in Pa. But when he first entered politics, he was cast as “way too conservative”. How cleverly they disguise themselves.

Maybe we need a Name and Shame List for these despicable swamp GOP rats, where citizens can feel free to express their utter disgust. These vile vermin is trying to compete with McInsane for a top spot.

My Senator could have said this to President Obama.

I wonder why he didn’t hold Obama accountable when he had the chance.

I don’t care much for my Senator but this is Pennsylvania we are talking about.

PA might end up with two Bob Caseys and that would be terrible.
