Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer wants New York law enforcement to stop protecting President Trump if the federal government doesn't up.
"[Mayor Bill de Blasio] ought to tell the Congress if we don't pay for it, New York City cops aren't guarding it, and let the Feds put more people in," Schumer, D-N.Y., told Buzzfeed. "That's what I think he should do."
New York City spent $24 million providing security for Trump Tower between election day and and the inauguration, according to city officials. Those costs have continued as first lady Melania Trump and son Barron Trump won't move to the White House until after he finishes the school year.....

The result of course is that NYC will lose a lot of money with these visits, so Schumer will next complain that heads of states are paying hotels in Florida during their visits instead of that money going to his state.

So he wants the Federal Government, of which he is a major component, to repay State government for Federal responsibilities. Welcome, Sen Schumer, to border states dilemma when it comes to Feds repaying the states for services they must provide to illegal immigrants mandated by Federal courts.

Hey Chuckie. The SS would guard the family wherever they are. Regardless of who is president, even that worm Obama, they have earned and deserve the highest security available. And we all pay for it. To make this a partisan issue is typical of democrats.
