It’s Time To ‘Primary’ Joe Manchin And Heidi Heitkamp And For Democrats To Have Guts
The Huffington Post ^ | February 18, 2017 | Richard Greene, Author of "Words That Shook The World"

Posted on 02/19/2017 2:02:27 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

My Democratic Party believes there is man-made climate change.

My Democratic Party believes in science.

My Democratic Party believes in protecting the environment.

On February 17, 2017 two Democratic United States Senators voted for a man who is a climate denier, a science denier and a destroyer of the environment to head The Environmental Protection Agency.

For that alone, Joe Manchin and Heidi Heitkamp must be “primaried” in 2018 and we should start finding qualified, principled, Progressive candidates in their states today who can take them on and represent true Democratic values in Congress.

I don’t care that West Virginia is a coal state and it is a specious argument for Joe Manchin to say that he didn’t want to offend his coal industry folks. Bernie Sanders, a hater of coal and a huge advocate for tough and immediate action to fight man-made climate change and a huge advocate for massive environmental protection won the Democratic Primary by 15.6 points and might even have won the entire state in the General....

So two more Republican seats in the Senate beyond those we already have a good chance of winning?

My Democratic Party believes there is man-made climate change. My Democratic Party believes in science.

Stop and decide which one you believe, then edit this article.

Good luck finding anti-energy progressives that can win in West Virginia and North Dakota. These democrats are as progressive as it can get in those states, and they will lose come 2018.

This is why the protests and Soros are good for us. They keep pushing the democrat party so far left they will kick out anyone reasonable and become regional as a result.

I wish we could count on a Republican replacing Manchin. Based on previous Republican candidates for Senate with the exception of Capito who was already in Congress, I have my doubts.

They seem to have a knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

his democrat party obviously doesn’t believe in toleration.

he shouldn’t worry too much. heidi is almost certainly toast. manchin will probably survive, though.

Yes, Yes, the Democrats should be true to the “Climate Change” principles.

They must insist that California will not have any snow; that Florida will be under water in five years, and that Arctic will be free of ice in winter as well.

Run on a platform of no fossil fuels for West Virginia or North Dakota!

It is the principle of the thing! Gaia will die if they do not run on their principles!

Manchin should switch parties. His state is not full of progressives and he is representing the wrong party.

Maybe both of them should give serious thoughts to becoming republican. It would make everyone’s life easier

I don’t know much about Heitkamp, but Joe Manchin votes his constituency. The fact that he’s in the Democratic Party, doesn’t change the fact that his supporters are more conservative than liberal. Maybe he needs to just to cross the aisle. I doubt his supporters would be heartbroken, and it would serve the democrats, “the party of diversity”, right!
They’re only diverse to a point, after which they become bigoted.

My Democratic Party believes there is man-made climate change.

My Democratic Party believes in science.

My Democratic Party believes in protecting the environment.

My Democratic Party believes in winged gnomes who shower unicorn farts and magic dust on leprechauns squatting on the far sides of rainbows.

My Democratic Party believes that if they crush enough skulls in the name of peace, everyone will love each other and never speak evil of each other for fear of getting their heads bashed in.

My Democratic Party believes that we're being merciful by ripping an unborn baby apart rather than letting it be born to a mother who is a sperm receptacle and a father who vanished in the night.

My Democratic Party believes it is social justice to steal money from hard-working people and give it to grifters, dope dealers, hustlers, and deadbeats because the people who earned the money only did so because they're privileged.

If my Democratic Party was a single person, it would be locked in a strait jacket and only freed at feeding time.
