President Trump, home alone, puts out the White House welcome mat

President Donald Trump is home alone, so suddenly one of the hottest new tickets in town is an invitation to the White House.

The President is going to start hitting the Washington dinner party circuit. In most cases, actually, his guests will come to him as he tries building bridges in a city that he has spent years railing against.

"It's very good -- a beautiful relationship," said Trump, all smiles Monday as he hosted congressional leaders at the White House for his first round of evening visitors. A piano played Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind," as the President mingled with top Republicans and Democrats, all of whom are feeling their way in Trump's new Washington....

President Trump is, before anything else, a salesman. When you figure that out, everything else falls into place.

I recall Laura and George Bush were trashed since they weren’t big party goers like the toons and social life in DC would suffer. Now of course the fault finders will say Trump is too social and not doing the work needed of a President. Expect his golfing to be criticized as well now.

Love that Trump has the energy and ability to host these dinners. Funny how CIA director was stalled by Chuckie and then he gets a pass after a rough day of criticism for the minority leader all day long. To think Trump has dinner with him!!! I love That Trump displays a full set instead of the usual male marbles that are present in DC.

Ok. Here’s the scene. Trump is following a time honored tradition. Signing pens while filing his cabinet picks. He’s surrounded by dems and repubs.

I cant watch your clip but you need to see the whole thing. Ryan acts magnanimous by saying he will take the pen. At the end he flings the pen back at the folder not taking it. Trump notices it. Tries to find a taker..no one wants it.finally someone takes it.

It is a bitch move and trump noticed it. Watch his actions and his face.

Bill Pryor is a conservative. I know him and he absolutely is.

There are actually two Pryors who are federal judges. Is it possible you’re confusing the two?

JILL Pryor also sits on the U.S. 11th Circuit Court. SHE was appointed by Obama. The two Pryors are like night and day.

I know that some conservative opposition exists because Bill Pryor, as Alabama Attorney General, forced the State Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore to remove the 10 Commandments statue, and that was unfortunate. However, that was a fight Moore couldn’t win and his defiance was hurting the overall cause. That’s just my opinion as an Alabamian. I was for Moore through most of that fight but once he lost the case the Alabama AG had to enforce the law that existed.

Btw..right hand man pence makes sure trump gets the proclamation pen at the end by handing it to melania. Trump was leaving it there. He really didnt understand the pomp and circumstance over the pens. At one point pence had to tell him about giving away the pens.
