PHILADELPHIA — A judge is rejecting a Green Party-backed effort to allow software experts to inspect Philadelphia's election systems for any evidence that hacking affected the result of Pennsylvania's Nov. 8 presidential election.

The judge's refusal Wednesday comes after Philadelphia's election board rejected the idea, too.

It is part of a broader effort by Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein to recount votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, states where Republican Donald Trump won narrowly over Democrat Hillary Clinton...

Inspect Philadelphia’s election systems?
That is exactly what needs to happen.
The states that she is targeting could decide future elections. This can only help us.

Her approach is to throw all that she can on the wall hoping that some of it sticks ... you know, spaghetti.

She has lots of time and other people’s money! And there’s always a liberal judge around when you need one to prolong the agony.

At $160,000 a hour regularly 24 hours a day, I would suspect that the money did not come from the “lesser persons” but from George Soros.

“I thinking the Greens want to see it so they understand how they themselves can hack it.”

Well, that’s half of the objective. The other half is to find any obscure possible exploit that could throw doubt on the reliability of the votes
however unlikely. If they get thier hands on the code there is a real threat on both these objectives. I can see a Fed judge ordering this to “insure the integrity of the votes”. Wow, we are up against a calculating evil that’s for sure.

The Demonrats are scrambling to hide the fraud. The best thing President Trump could do in this instance is to force Pennsylvania to do a forensic audit of the election results along with the DOJ and then use the evidence to prosecute the guilty.

There is only one theory that makes any sense to me about the “why”.

The theory I read here on FR today (and yesterday) is to get these 3 states to start hand recounts that most likely won’t be done by the time to for the electors to vote on the 19th (it looks like that would fail in Wisconsin - they are a little over 70% done).

The way it works is if the state hasn’t completed the recount in time then their electoral vote is nullified and that amount of EVs are also subtracted from the amount needed. So, Wisconsin has 10 EVs, they would be subtracted from the required 270 making the amount needed 260 and Trump would now have 296 instead of his 306.

Apply the same to Michigan - 16 EVs so the new threshold is 244 Trump has 280, then Pennsylvania - 20 EVs, threshold now 224 and Trump at 260 - Trump still wins.

But wait - some knuckleheads in Floriduh filed a lawsuit today (or yesterday) demanding a recount - and there is no way they’d finish in time and Trump loses his EVs there, too - 29 of ‘em. All this time Hillary keeps all 232 of hers. Trumps new total is 231 - Hillary wins.

This has never been about fund raising (a decent side benefit for Stein), nor has it been about finding enough votes to overturn 20,000, 40,000, or in the case of FL - 122,000 votes, it is not even about delegitimizing Trump’s wipeout of the HildeBeast - it is about actually stealing the election. Granted this is a Hail Mary but the left will do whatever it takes - they were so close and they are determined to not lose now.

I am not an Electoral College expert - AT ALL - I just read this stuff in the last day or so - news to me. It seems like voter disenfranchisement to me but if this is actually the way the Electoral College rules are - then I understand what Stein is doing - why else would the left risk being caught in Detroit and Philly with all of their mischief - they’re done one way or the other but if they can steal the election they can bury the evidence of their crimes.

State legislatures can name electors as they wish. They need not wait for a recount, or even be bound by the state’s popular vote. Congress gets the final say on including a state’s proposed electoral votes.

If delayed recounts could change election results, it would be done most elections.

There is a real threat if they can find any problem with the code no matter how trivial and the same code is in numerous machines in numerous states bam! Chaos.

No, it’s not chaos in the presidential vote. State legislatures appoint electoral college voters anyway.

Might be some state and local problems, for sure.

With all due respect, what do you think would would happen if state legislatures start appointing electors “under the a cloud of uncertainty with respect to the voting machines”?
