If Dan Quayle was the worst political figure in the history of this country, we’d be living in the Garden of Eden.

Its shameful how a corrupt corporate media has the power to destroy good men.Maybe they didn't destroy him, I just hope he's BACK.

Bush and Quayle favored free trade over people like Buchanan and Perot. Quayle has always been a proponent of ‘free’ trade and favored fast track authority.

I’m sure that Trump is meeting with a lot of people just to get their feedback. It doesn’t mean they’re under consideration for a position.

But why do we know this so well? Is it perhaps because Quayle was so relentlessly excoriated that this particular spelling lesson has become learned on a national level? The spelling of potatoe, while not terribly common, existed for almost the entire 20th century. For example, the New York Times was still occasionally spelling potato with an e in 1988. In fact, one can easily find spellings of potatoe all the way up to 15 June of 1992, at which point they suddenly drop off or become used in an ironic way, referencing this incident.

Where does one go from VP, that is not a step down?
I could see Trump establishing his own, advisory cabinet.
Didn’t Reagan have something along those lines?
“Reagan’s Kitchen Cabinet”

With his black hat.
That would be awesome and I’ll bet he’d love to be in on it.
Who else?
George Zimmerman?

Keep in mind how that story really happened.
DQ was taking part as a host in a spelling bee at a school.
The TEACHER spelled it wrong on the card and in order to help the teacher save face, rather than point it out he went with what was on the card.
The entire episode illustrates two important points:
1. As we know, the MSM is a bunch of liars, stenographers for the DNC
2. American education needs to break free of teachers’ unions and federal oversight.

It wasn’t really incorrect, either. It was an accepted alternate spelling at that time and had been for centuries.
To: GreyFriar
And to this day it is the only way I ever spell it.

Quayle was one of my senators when I applied to the academies. Unlike the other RINO ass senator he had the courtesy to send me a letter saying since I already had a rep nomination he would use his for someone else. Still have it somewhere around here ....
