Two Republican senators who turned against Donald Trump after the release of a damning 2005 video appear to have reversed their positions.

The first to do was Sen. Deb Fischer of Nebraska, who had called for Trump to step aside and cede the GOP nomination to his running mate, Gov. Mike Pence. She now says she will vote for Trump.

"I plan to vote for Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence on Nov. 8," she said Tuesday on Lincoln radio station KLIN.

"I put out a statement ... with regard to Mr. Trump's comments," she said of her initial response to the video, in which Trump boasts of grabbing women without their consent.

"I felt they were disgusting. I felt they were unacceptable, and I never said I was not voting for our Republican ticket....

Seeing the name Lincoln reminds me - these pols are really dumb not to wait a couple of days for that type of announcement, Lincoln was most often “weakly firm or firmly weak” on many political positions.

Just where was the Republican outrage at the names Sarah Palin was called in 2008 - the c word comes to mind.

Where was the outrage from Republicans as well as Democrats when Bill Clinton said "Hillary has had more pu**y than I have from other women!", and we know Bill was active in that regard.

Maybe she realized the absurdity of vowing to stop Clinton in Congress next year, when they should be vowing to stop her from winning the White House this year?

I'll be voting for Trump, and then for the Democrat in every down ballot race.

My goal is to exact a price for 3 decades of treachery.

And until we ALL resolve to exact that price, nothing will change.

Ever.

As an alumnus of one of the Ranger battalions, I lived the code of no man left behind. I guess I better turn in my scroll, because I would leave every one of these cowards behind.

Well, well, well.......the GOP royalty, think they are anyway, have finally had dawn come down on them. The light has shown and they finally realized just where their bread is buttered. They were talking tough when they thought they had a the power to force voters to accept what they wanted. Well, the voters have spoken in the primaries and the fact that they are not going to be led astray. They have selected Trump. And the by words are “lead, follow, or get out of the way!” They obviously can’t lead. If they had continued on the road they chose, they would have been thrown out of the way, so now they can only follow and stay under cover and hope the voters have a short memory.

But, here’s a little tip for you guys, when Trump gets elected, he is going to remember you. So you better get ready to walk for treating him, and especially the voters, like youthful children trying to learn the world. You’re caught! Pay the price! We sent the British packing in the 1700’s because they were telling us what to do. So put on your red coats and line up. Our marksmanship in the voting machines has improved. And you’ll be retreating two years from now. Good riddance and don’t let it hit you in the keyster on the way out.

They are like every other stupid Republican...they are all about themselves personally - what do they get. No Republican gives a flying...about the nation or about the people. They want to be uber-rich do nothings. They don’t care if Hillary is elected except that it might cut into what they get from donors. To Hell with all of them.

"Great idea! Hamstring Trump with a Democrat majority in both houses."

Like Obama was Hamstrung by a Republican majority in both houses?

Staggers the imagination how many people are smoking banana peels and huffing whippet canisters. Total denial.

Demoncrats have infiltrated the Republican party. Capiche?

They need to be removed by whatever means necessary.
