Israeli supporters of U.S. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump have opened a campaign office in the occupied West Bank, saying they hope to get as many American expatriates as possible to cast an absentee ballot for their candidate.

There are about 300,000 U.S. citizens in Israel, according to the non-profit group Republican Overseas Israel, which opened the office in the Jewish settlement Karnei Shomron on Monday. It estimates as many as 80,000 of them live in the West Bank, though it is not clear how many are eligible voters.

The initiative has no official ties to the Trump campaign or the Republican National Committee (RNC), and the Israeli group opened the West Bank office, and a handful of others throughout Israel, with its own funds, said co-chairman Marc Zell...

Unless they get them, to send them all to Palm Beach, it won’t make a difference.

Israel has everything to gain, and nothing to lose with a Trump presidency.

“the occupied West Bank” .... the major media keeps repeating this (deliberate) lie

and note the article also continues the BS about an Israeli community being a “settlement,” too

as long as Nazi Power continues to dominate the Mass Media, we will never recover America (or Europe, since this is Reuters)

we need to clean out the Satanic slime in “major” mass media, at a number of universities, AND of course WashingtonDC. Only then will it be possible for us to rebuild America and restore our liberties (and our electoral process). The American people need some relief from the 24/7/365 attacks, lies, distortions, corruption, and the selling out of our country to enemy interests.

Meanwhile, its no wonder that the “major” mass media is shrinking day by day ... as more and more intelligent people seek out better, more honest sources of information and news. you can hardly find anyone that actually reads newspapers anymore... and as soon as major advertisers wake up they will start pulling their ads ... and the lying media will finally die

There are more American expatriates in Mexico than Israel.
What would be the impact if this went global?

Of course, it works both ways. there are many Mexican expatriates in the US. In fact, libertarian leaning PAN-Republican Fox won the Mexican presidency precisely because he won the largest share of votes by Mexicans in the US while only breaking even in Mexico itself.

Of course, most of these Mexicans in the US have dual citizenship (like my wife and daughters) and can legally vote in both countries.

The example with the Mexican election is precisely why I believe we shouldn't recognize "dual citizenship". People who's first loyalty is to a foreign nation should not be having any input in who our country's election. Furthermore, what other countries view as "conservative" is very different than how we define it here. That's especially true in Israel, where taxpayer funded abortion-on-demand is a policy enacted by the "conservative" government.

I find it bizarre that Trump has four campaign offices in Israel and only one in Florida. I can't imagine it helping him much unless he plans to move to Israel and run for office in the Knesset. There are American citizens living in Israel, but not enough to swing the difference in whatever their home state. American Jews living here far outnumber them in the vote count, and they vote overwhelmingly Democrat. Also, as you pointed out, there are far more Americans living abroad in Mexico than in Israel. How many campaign offices did Donald open in Mexico before he erects his yuuuuuuuuuge wall?
