It's Trump's second stop of the day on the campaign trail.
Donald Trump will host event No. 2 of the day for him in Jackson, Mississippi, on Wednesday night, after talking to a crowd in Tampa, Florida earlier in the day.
Trump will be speaking at Mississippi Coliseum at 7 p.m. Eastern time in a state that has voted for a Republican president in the last 10 elections and where Trump holds a healthy lead over Hillary Clinton.
The most recent poll taken in the state, conducted by Magellan Strategies, gave Trump a 15-point lead over Clinton head-to-head and a 13-point lead when two other independent candidates were factored in. That poll surveyed 1,084 people on August 11 and had a 2.9 percent margin of error....

I don’t understand Trump’s campaign stops....why Texas last night? They will NOT vote for Hillary....why Connecticut last week? They WILL vote Hillary. Why not focus on the battleground states....OH, PA, VA, FL.
Rumor is Nigel Farage is in Jackson, MS and will give a talk on Brexit and how it resembles the movement of Trump and his base of support.
Thanks for posting this.
Does he need to campaign there?
It’s August
No I heard he made a promise to someone he would come back man of his word
Why Texas? MONEY. He was raking it in in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area early in the day and didn’t do too bad in Austin either. The crowds were out of sight, of course. We were happy to have him in the Lone Star State.
Isn’t VA pretty much a write-off too, with Kaine as her VP?
Trump will always be welcome in Texas......Cruz? Not so much........;)
He is fundraising for the RNC and said he would combine raising money with being with the people. He wants the largest voter turnout ever to beat rigged system.
