Politicians like King are too big and too long entrenched in their offices to to lose. Just look at Paul Ryan in Wisconsin. He easily won his Primary even though he proved he is just another leftist Democrat.
I know that "What's-His=Name" lost his Primary here in VA a couple of years ago but that is still an anomaly, not the norm.
