To liberals, the fact that he's a devout Christian is a scandal in and of itself. You can bet every dollar you have that they are coming up with a meme for him, like they've done for every Republican since at least Nixon (shifty, crooked).
Quayle was dumb, Reagan was a dumb, dangerous cowboy, and then they tried to tack on corrupt with those stupid Iran / Contra hearings (that NOBODY outside Washington understood), Gerald Ford was clumsy and dumb (even though he was one of the most athletic Presidents ever). They will come up with something that they believe they can make stick, trust me.
