How can they use a person in an ad without his knowledge and consent?!

That was my first question.

My second would be how did they KNOW that this guy voted for Trump?

I thought ballots are supposed to be secret.

I hope i don't get banned from the Internet, but I actually read the article.

So how did Massachusetts’ Warren and MoveOn get it wrong? Levin said they simply never asked him. The clip, he said, originated from an Al Jazeera special several years ago about the American family which he agreed to be part of. The Al Jazeera logo is still visible in the lower left corner of the MoveOn video.

Now, I have no idea if Warren's team can lift a Youtube clip with no permission from anyone, including Al Jazerra or Levin. I would hope he can send a cease and desist letter, like a few musicians have done concerning copyrighted music.
