You have the audacity to defend Cruz's selling out his principle to the same powerful LBGTQ lobby that is demonizing Christians, tearing up the culture, corrupting the minds of little girls and boys -- by comparing the times of The Gipper (the 1980s) WITH THESE TIMES??

That is some real special intellectual contortionism. I had NO idea that 30 years ago the LBGTQ were the cultural social and economic powerhouse they are NOW.

I hit the local range Saturday, and two likely gay shooters were shooting at the range station next to me. I'd brought bottled water along and offered them some from my cooler, which offer was accepted with thanks, and the usual conversation about our guns ensued. One had never shot a 1911A1 .45 auto before, tried mine, and figured it wasn't nearly as bad as he'd been led to believe.

They were, simply, a couple of nice guys, who, if they hadn't been at it all that long, were certainly involved before the recent massacre, and who, if it came to that, were in a better position to take care of themselves and others than some 315 helpless victims in Florida.

I wish them well. Yeah, we traded email addresses. There may be a .45 in somebody's future, and I'm all for that.
