Cruz has been laying low to heighten the drama. Cruz is most aligned with Trump’s positions. Cruz has a ground game that Trump respects and can leverage. Cruz has the brilliant legal chops to get the Trump agenda enacted, and the runway to succeed Trump. Cruz will whip up his supporters to back Trump enthusiastically. Best way to watch Ryan and McConnell with egg on their face.
