Uh, those aren’t $50K a piece. Multiply by 5 and you would be about on target. Sometimes 2 per day. I have a list, and will try to post it tomorrow.

About 30% of the national debt is from US government agencies to the US Treasury. For example when FICA money comes in, it is not immediately spent, but goes to the Treasury where it is counted as debt.

“We pay about 230 billion a year on the debt with T bonds averaging about 2%. If interest rates on T bonds rise to a level of 4%, interest on the debt will be about 500 billion. At that point the USA is Purto Rico.”

So basically, government debt has destroyed the US economy for now.

Donald should also ask his banking pals what they think about the WH half-cast and his cronies inflicting these extortionate penalties on banks.

Obama and Congressional Democrats----with a huge assist from then-AG Eric Holder----have given NeighborWorks America (formerly ACORN) and La Raza a huge funding source of tax dollars to achieve Obama's dream of a permanent Democrat majority.

Obama/Holder/Dems are forcing taxpayers via DOJ litigation WRT bank settlements----into paying off these nefarious organizations.

DOJ went after CitiCorp and ordered them to pay $50 million to La Raza and NeighborWorks America as part of the settlement.

Another clause in the agreement makes it possible for La Raza and NeighborWorks America to rake in even larger amounts of money.

Of the remaining money the banks needed to pay in settlements, the banks were able to contribute additional money to La Raza and NeighborWorks America. For every dollar they contribute, it reduces their debt to the government by 2 dollars. That’s some mighty powerful incentive to give generously.

==================================================

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and House Financial Services Chairman Jeb Hensarling have questioned why this money was sent to the ACORN clone and the blood-thirsty LaRaza----rather than to the alleged victims of the bank’s crime. The administration of course declined to answer.

Here's part of the Congressmen's letter to Holder: “It seems that the alleged victims are not the primary beneficiaries of these multi-billion dollar settlements. Instead, the terms in the Justice Department’s two latest settlements look less like consumer relief and more like a scheme to funnel money to politically favored special interest groups.”

“This makes donations to activist groups far more attractive to banks than providing direct relief to injured consumers. As a result, the settlements appear to serve as a vehicle for funding activist groups rather than as a means of securing relief for consumers actually harmed.”

=====================================

So now, with tons of money for the next presidential election, the largest and most successful voter fraud campaign may alter the course of the elections not to mention the future of the United States.

NO WONDER HILLARY KEEPS SMILING.

.....amazing what the Clintons have gotten away with for decades using the Clinton Foundation as a front......

EXHIBIT ONE---(hat tip FReeper 9THLIFE) Banks drill their employees into anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist funding.

EVERY banking transaction -- especially by those who are politically involved -- is subject to scrutiny. There is no way -- categorically N.O. way -- in a Patriot-Act world that anyone could have pulled off what is alleged against the Clinton Foundation.

Every suspect transaction will have a report filled out and filed about it. If it involves international transfers and shady characters (think of the latest list of the Friends of Bill) the issues - each and every one -- would be escalated to senior management.

The reports themselves are required to be on file for 5 years. Discussion of such reports -- even their existence -- is strictly controlled and generally forbidden. Yet they remain on record.

It's conceivable that suspicious Clinton activity reports were duly passed on to OCC and whomever else and whomever else has jurisdiction and there they were buried. But some bankers still know about them.

Unless they weren't filed, and that itself is a crime under the applicable law.

=========================================

EXHIBIT TWO---Financial whistleblower Charles Ortel quoted a former managing director of Dillon, Read & Co: "under New York law, tax authorities dont have to show criminal intent to get convictions against foundation officials."

"Authorities need only show that the Clinton Foundation filed materially misleading financial information but kept on fundraising for a myriad of do-good projects."

=========================================

POSTER'S NOTE The legal culpability of a charity consists of soliciting and taking money.... and showing how they spend it.

So if the Clinton Foundation raised money using the US mails and cited a specific "do-good cause" but used the donated money elsewhere, that is considered mail fraud.

REPORT MAIL FRAUD HERE: https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/contactUs/filecomplaint.aspx

=================================

EXHIBIT THREE---Earlier, Ortel found irregularities of a sufficient magnitude that the Clinton Foundation should be shut down.

Ortel: "if any of the 50 state attorneys general present the evidence to a federal district judge, an injunction would be ordered, shutting down the Clinton Foundation and placing the organization in receivership."

Maybe we could just print more money. On the new, higher denominations we could put feminist and ‘social justice’ heroes. When we get to billion dollar notes we could honor Comrade President for Life Mugabe and the Weimar Republic.

Actually, it is a very “bad” thing.

If you borrow a large sum of money from me and then at some later date try to “negotiate” your loan down...I’m going to tell you to go fly a kite. Your future credibility is destroyed.

This sounds like what people do dealing with collection companies when they are in trouble. Not what credible countries do.

Whether it is a normal or acceptable business practice doesn’t make it right.

This makes me hang my head in shame.

Oh, good grief. You are absolutely wrong. With over twenty years in the lending business, I can assure you that this type of transaction is not that unusual. You are just naive about it's use.

"...future credibility is destroyed..." Are you kidding me? My credibility when it comes to loans is excellent. My credit rating is 800+ which is considered excellent. Paying off your loans early, whether at a discount or not, increases your credit credibility. It does not "destroy" it like you claim.

You act like the debt payoff negotiation is a one way street. The lender wants their money early and will take less than the full amount owed as their payoff. They want this deal as much as the borrower does. It is a mutually beneficial transaction. It is NOT unethical, illegal or "shameful". It all has to do with the time utility of money to the parties involved.

Hang your head in shame that you never figured out that people do this all the time. And Trump is correct is suggesting we negotiate with China to payoff our debt early at a discount.

“Hang your head in shame that you never figured out that people do this all the time.”

People do a lot of things that aren’t right. Professionally and personally. The way you speak is a sign of our troubled times.

I just don’t understand why the Cruzers are still allowed here, to repeat the Cruzer/Levin/Beck talking points (”he’s gone bankrupt OFTEN!”) with impunity. And if they can’t have Cruz they’ll take Hillary. I’ve seen this several times today. So childish after JR has made it crystal clear. And so disrespectful to JR. Never been so disappointed in Freepers as these Cruzjobs still here, spouting lies, and SUPPORTING GLOBALISM (open borders, total loss of sovereignty, TPP, TPA, North American Union, unlimited immigration, total amnesty for illegals) I hope Trump isn’t viewing this crap. We support him but it does appear rigged that Cruznadian trolls still do everything they can to keep AMERICA from being FIRST and from being GREAT AGAIN!

Why not just tell the Federal Reserve to pack sand, they are owed nothing? Seize all gold reserves from them, and begin the process of coining money?
