In 2008, with Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton nearly deadlocked in their race for the Democratic presidential nomination, Montana voters headed to the polls on June 3 not knowing who the partys nominee would be.
It was an exciting time for Montana Democrats because the states June primary election is usually too late in the nominating process to have an impact on the outcome. The presidential nominees are usually decided long before voters here get a chance to cast their ballots....

I don’t expect Trump to do very well here. I think he will do even more poorly in the delegate count should the convention be contested. The delegates are only bound on the first ballot.
