“There are rules. Every registered R voter in CO was notified of how the primary was supposed to be run and what they had to do if they wanted to be a delegate to the State convention. Guess one could make the point that the process was too arduous, but that’s how it was to work.”

Didn’t want to repeat myself...repeat myself...repeat my...

He either let his ego get in the way because he thinks he is smarter than anyone and everyone or he wants the Trumpidians to believe he has done it all on his own. Or both.

I don’t think it is much of a surprise that the guy who has bragged many times about spending the night in the White House during the Bush presidencies supports the shady shenanigans that his fellow Bush sycophant Calgary Cruz is engaging in. Did Limbaugh call bypassing voters “principled conservatism”? I am glad that Trump is causing the GOP establishment types to remove the masks and expose themselves.

That’s “myrmidons” not minions...minions is not descriptive enough.
And other than being weak minded they sure do whine a lot.

Who decided who would be a delegate? Cruz? The #NeverTrump Establishment?
++++
You’re asking me??? How would I know. They were selected in part by a caucus system where people voted for delegates. After that I have no idea. Apparently Trump didn’t either.

Question for you or anybody: There were 37 delegates at stake. What should Cruz have done?

If TRUMP is cheated by corrupt insider politics then it’s time to destroy the GOP nationwide. There WILL be the start of an alternative party. There is too much inside corrupt politicians. Starting with the ENTRENCHED McCONNELs RYANS and their lackey congressional politicians.

The ‘conseravtive’ voters are getting cones YET AGAIN. How stupid can they get!

Hi VanDekolk,

The argument that I have been reading is that Colorado was “legal” and that Trump supporters are whining because their guy isn’t as good at this stuff as Cruz.

To All:

What a pile of Bull Shit.

Voter Suppression, done in a legal, rule abiding manner or not, is still Voter Suppression. Anybody, especially those who claim to be Constitutional Conservatives, ought to stand against this corruption. Ben Franklin stated the founders gave us a Republic if we could hang onto it. If Colorado tactics are allowed to continue and be cheered (because Cruz wins), then you can kiss your liberty goodbye.

But what does liberty matter so long as Trump gets beat How small. How very small. I’ve been wondering why I’ve felt down about this all day. Maybe It’s the fact that I’ve a grown kid in the Navy serving his country defending the freedoms and liberties that so many of you are willing to piss away because it’s more important for your guy to win.

Well here’s something to take to the bank: If Donald Trump is denied the nomination then you can bet your sweet ass Ted Cruz won’t get it either. Thanks a lot. Thanks a whole hell of a lot.

I make no apologies for the colorful language. Mr. Robinson can ban me if he wishes. Sometimes, base language is the only way to effectively communicate.

There was NEVER such a "deal" with Trump!

You can repeat that until the cows come home...it still won't make it true.

The GOPE is doing their very best to lose the up coming general election, falsely believing that even if they lose the Whits House, they will all still keep their cushy jobs and keep the status quo. Sadly ( for them ), they don't know any factual American history, so they don't see that they are now going to join the long dead Whig Party and their positions.

The GOP needs to die.
The GOP *WAS* / *IS* / *WILL ALWAYS BE* the bulwark by which to obliterate Federalism and relegate it unto historical oblivion and irrelevancy.

Cruz is playing by the rules as they are laid out....nothing wrong there....

EXCEPT:

The complaint is that the rules are unfair to the electorate and the game is effectively rigged by the establishment.....

Without the establishment push and some shenanigans for Cruz in Colorado, Cruz would not have been nearly as effective.....

The head of the GOPe in Colorado tweeted “congrats! we stopped Trump” shortly after the Colorado tally was counted... Then, the tweet was almost immediately recalled....

Since when on this forum do we cheer the Establishment cheating, lying and the effective neutering of the electorate in the process???

Trump is like a pigeon on a chessboard. Instead of playing the game set out before him, he struts about knocking over pieces, crapping on the board and then declares himself the winner.

The winner is NOT the person who gets CLOSEST to 1237. Whether Trump and his supporters like it or not, a candidate must get at least that number. So far Trump is doing very little to win supporters past the first round of voting. So, instead of whining that Cruz is “stealing” delegates, don’t you think that he might ought to think beyond the first round of voting and act accordingly?

What many of you fail to see is this is all a moot point. It is coming down to being mathematically impossible for Ted Cruz to take this nomination outright with the number of remaining delegates (needs 88% of the remaining delegates).

If Cruz had the decency to bow out like Santorum did in 2012 when he needed 75% of the delegates remaining, this would all be a moot point. But many of us have discovered, Ted Cruz is NOT a decent man.

The only logical reason for Cruz to stay in this is to help the GOPe undermine the will of the people.

So every person who applied to be a delegate became a delegate? If not, who decided who would become a delegate? Why only Cruz delegates? There is not one Kasich delegate? Not one Trump delegate?

You are OK with that?

It seems to me that you, Cruz, GOPe and the Uniparty are on the same side.

“It’s a Delegate Game, not a Voter Game. “

Ok, fine. Suspend any more voting and zero out the votes cast. Then do the “process” thingy.
