a prudent campaigner will seek ways to enlist the votes of delegates as they become free to vote their consciences. It is quite smart and perfectly proper for Cruz seek to get that Rolodex.

Meanwhile, we can expect Donald Trump to attempt to buy delegates just as he has bought politicians his whole career.

I see how it is. If Cruz gets to the delegates (with a bucket load of promises), he is "convincing them to vote their consciences." But if Trump gets to them with his skills of negotiation, he is "bribing" them.

That's just the same kind of weaselly language that we get from lawyers. It is the same activity in both cases, you just describe it differently.

I quite agree with you, yours is a fair comment, what is good for the goose is good for the gander. But let's not hear anymore about Ted Cruz selling out to the Rino establishment while Donald Trump continues bribing.
