Awesome!

Here’s hoping he runs third party and destroys the GOP.

Can’t think of a group of people who deserve it more.

No worries. Trump voters write in his name and push the button for every rat on the ballot. Trump’s voters can play dirty too.

He doesn’t have the liquid cash to run a viable third party campaign, plus the logistics of getting your name on 50 different state ballots is daunting.

That is true for me, I won’t vote for any republican for any office ever again. I’ve already changed my registration to non-partisan for the first time ever. But the party really doesn’t care...they have their place at the table and they’ll hang on as a happy lapdog to the Democrats for as long as they can. They don’t care about votes - even Soviet peasants got to vote - they want to protect the closed political system and they understand that that will not be overthrown easily.

But the passion behind Trump at its core is the disgust for the party not listening to the voters,

**************

And to some degree I think it transends both parties and independents as I believe some are fed
up and want to see something changed.

You have that right.

Well Gee, I guess all of the Trump supporters should just call it quits now and jump ship. What’s the point of voting for him in the rest of the primaries!

The bad news is for you - there is no way the GOP-E is going to allow Cruz to be the nominee.

You know all those RNC committee members who double as delegates? All the other people “doubling as delegates” are careerist politicians and local party hacks, all of whom are Party uber alles types who will nominate Romney/Ryan/Rubio in a heartbeat.

The dudes with the elephant ties that take vacation on The Weekly Standard cruise with Bill and Fred seem ready to end it all. They only care about whatever tiny say so they get on state party issues and a really good table at the Lincoln dinner every year. Meanwhile leftism, already entrenched, will ensure foreverhood with five SCOTUS picks, more open borders and a really large amnesty. Those that can will be deciding between Australia and New Zealand.

Yes deadlines approach, and sore loser laws are another issue.
Unless he can ace out Gary Johnson for the Libertarian nom.

The Libertarians have claimed (hearsay evidence of course) that several candidates who have dropped out of the R race have contacted them about the nomination.

I agree and the party is living in a fantasy land if they think they can just ignore Trump leading every poll since he announced and all the millions who voted for him and maybe a million who showed up to his events and just give it to someone else and everything will be cheery..

Good screw 2016. We can get ready for 2020. The democrats had to learn some lessons from losing 3 in a row from 1980-1992. Our turn. If trump is not the candidate it’s over.

The GOP-E are counting on the Cruz voters believing that he has a chance at a contested convention..

Then I have bad news for you.
Good for you on staying delusional. If it helps you sleep better at night ... keep on doing it.

Based on what? His flip flipping on the issues and being perceived as going after women? Yeah I am sure his stances will save the house and Senate.
/sarcasm off

I voted for Rinos Mcshame and Romulus, and not the GOP which made Trump take a pledge won’t back a guy who will have won over 30 states with more real votes than either Mcshame and Romulus got in their primaries.

If my vote and millions of others don’t count, I am going to help crash the party of the Rinos. It will take them 20 years to recover.

if that happens then the millions of Trump voters will take at least a year off from voting.. most likely much longer than that..

Ugly, but that is what the GOPe has in mind.
Definitely. Cruz is the 'useful idiot' at this point. Once they can eliminate Trump, by whatever means, Ted will be easy pickings. Kind of embarrassing to watch him strut around like he's going to win, when we all know it's simply not going to happen. John Kasich has a bigger chance to become the nominee than Cruz does.
