I am (not) for abortions. I am (not) for gun control. Neither I might add, is Trump.

I am however thinking, a good trade war is exactly what America needs. Heck yes.

Price increasing tariffs? If it means more American jobs, again heck yes.

I don’t know where your “14% confiscation” of anything comes from, but I suppose it comes from the same point some of your other stuff does. :D

Go Trump.

Am I the only Freeper with Google and you tube. Trump nd advocated a “one time” confiscation of personal wealth for the evil rich. He criticized the GOP last election for opposing amnesty, he has repeatedly said that he is for abortion and that he hates guns. I could send you the links like I have done for others, but you would just reply, “That is so fifteen minutes ago.” And if you think tariffs are good for the economy, try telling that to the working family that sees the price of a new TV go up by 50 percent, or the automaker that had to lay off workers when the rest of the world retaliates with tariffs of their own.

Not to butt in, but how can a “good trade war” be good for America?

Is there a distinction between a “good” and a “bad” trade war?

What are the positive anticipated outcomes from such a trade war, and with whom would it be fought? Are there any downsides that once might anticipate from a trade war, however that might be defined?

And I’m a bit fuzzy on how high tariffs are supposed to produce more American jobs, when one would most often expect a net decrease in economic activity (including job creation) from a real campaign of tariff barriers. How is that supposed to work, exactly?

Just not clear on this whole Trade protectionism thing that seems to have seized a lot of the Bernie Bros, and some of Mr. Trump’s supporters.
