During Saturday night's South Carolina Republican debate, when questioned on the issue of replacing late-Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, John Kasich said that if President Obama is going to nominate someone, he hoped the president would "pick somebody that's going to have unanimous approval, and such wide spread approval across the country that this could happen without a lot of recrimination."
I really wish the president would think about not nominating somebody. If you were to nominate somebody, let's have him pick somebody that's going to have unanimous approval, and such wide spread approval across the country that this could happen without a lot of recrimination. I don't think that's going to happen, and I would like the President just to for once here put the country first. We're going to have an election for President very soon, and the people will understand what is at stake in that election....

Thank God Kasich isn’t a Senator.
My money is for Obama to nominate Louis Farrakhan. That would be like the trifecta for those who would destroy our country.
Maybe he will nominate Beyonce or Oprah, sounds silly but hey with Obama you never know
What do they drink in Ohio that creates idiots like Boehner and Kasich? This guy is unreal. As if, A) Anyone would agree on this and B) That Obama would nominate someone even halfway decent.
“New record, folded before he even got close to the nomination.”
The LAST thing the republicans want is a conservative justice, it would hurt their fundraising efforts considerably.
Mr Maturity urging Obama to nominate another Justice.
Kasich is a clown.
John shoulda followed in his father’s footsteps. Instead, he’s left Ohio carrying the bag.
That way it will definitely lead to a Senate hold.
Sen. Lindsey Graham: ‘When It Comes to Supreme Court Justices, I Would Nominate... (Gowdy)
February 2, 2015
EXCERPT
Graham described liberal Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan as “very qualified candidates to be picked by a Democratic president,” and although he voted to confirm them, he said he would not have chosen them.
Yea, a black commie lesbian.....or Deval Patrick.
Is the Minnesota Muslim congressman a lawyer?
The Rodney King of politics I’m afraid.
Kasich - The kind of Republican Democrats love, but still won’t vote for.
Bye bye Kasich.
Trump, flaws and all, is a thousand times better than this weasel.

I don’t always agree with your postings, but in this case I fully agree. Kasich is a milquetoast and a liberal (is that redundant?). I’m sick of hearing about his dad who was a postman and his expansion of Medicaid and everything else in his past life in the Congress. ....What is he proposing to do if Prez? Nothing but platitudes exit his mouth.
Kasich - The kind of Republican Democrats love, but still wonât vote for.

Just like Hatch, McCain and Graham!
If the Obama guy can pass my litmus test then OK.
Ball less GOP will lick the boot again
With Orren Hatch still head of the committee it does not look good.
