Like him or hate him, Trump is not beholden to the media, which is a great trait for a future POTUS.

Agreed, and further, even more important IMHO, is the FACT that Trump is the ONLY candidate not beholden to the ultra-rich donor class. The interest of that ultra-rich donor class is cheap labor express and moving manufacturing to cheaper labor countries like China & Mexico.
Who is going to look out for the vast hard working middle class? I guarantee it will not be the ultra-rich donors and their puppets, the career politicians, all of them.
What’s amazing is that Trump is accused of not having much of a ground game in Iowa. It sure is amazing that he can put on such a huge event in such a short period of time with no ground game.
