That is actually one of my chief worries. They supposedly hate him and yet they do everything possible to try to get him over with the American people. It is like a really cliche WWE storyline.
Seems a bit inappropriate for a president to step into the election. That he does, helps Trump. first, pushes the other Republicans further aside. Second, ties Clinton to Obama in ways that I am sure Clinton won’t like as the campaign progresses. Win-Win all the way to the White House for Trump.

I think they’d better line up a dozen or more doors for Obama to kick open.....it’s about the extent of his “manpower.”
This can only help Trump. If Obama goes all out against Trump it will be game over. Trump is the nominee. It would be the best endorsement Trump could possibly get. I am a Cruz supporter but I, without hesitation, concede this point. Cruz would have to pack up any hope of winning the nomination because it would gone.
Obama will, in effect, be selecting the Republican nominee. His handlers should know this.
Now you have to wonder, why?
The options are 1) they really want to run against Trump, 2) they really don’t want to face Cruz or 3) they are really, really stupid.
I think all three choices are equally likely.

Actually I think they are shocked at how easy it was to advance beyond their fondest dreams. The left is well versed in two steps forward and one step back. But they took 1000 steps forward. If trump or Cruz erase 998 of them, they are still on track for eventual victory.
