Trump/Cruz...12-16 years of flushing out the cesspool known as Washington D.C.

Everything about the GOPe seems fishy to me. They keep giving us people like Bob Dole, John McCain, and Mitt Romney who all go down in decisive defeats to the Democrats. If they truly cared about the party’s viability and future they would get behind the conservative movement that has delivered the GOP landslide congressional victories in ‘10 and ‘14. They don’t and we end up with passive, worthless and spineless leadership in Congress. They’re in league with the Democrats in the known but invisible uniparty that only cares about acquisition and the holding on of political power and money! What else could it be? If the GOP followed the conservative leanings of itd rank and file they would be the majority party by a vast margin. I still contend that a good number of our GOP leaders are closet Democrats who have successfully infiltrated the GOP and are destroying it from the inside with its feckless and ineffective leadership. Makes me so damn mad what an opportunity we are letting slip away in destroying the left.

Head-to-head contests between Trump vs. Rubio or Cruz and Carson in the latest cbs poll. :-)

Personally I think Trump is stronger than the polls show because he is going to get a lot of first time voters who have not voted before or in a long time.

The RNC has the votes. and the rules won’t be changed at the Convention but rather a little prior.

When it happens if Cruz and/or Trump don’t go immediately to a new party run that has had the groundwork already laid it doesn’t matter whether the republican Party crumbles or not. The whole country is then a rapidly declining and totalirarianizing place with no remedy. The killing will start in earnest shortly after.
