I will take 40 years of Trump in the public eye than 2 years of Obama that we know before he became president.

Most of Trumps support is coming from the left.

If you disagree with Trump’s policies, you are the liberal clown!

The unions have vowed not to fight him.

Some, particularly the Teamsters, and maybe some other private sector unions. Hillary sent them a big FU when she came out against Keystone. That costs them tens of thousands of union jobs. If they are finally getting tired of being bitches for the Democrat econazis that's a good thing. The teamsters also supported Reagan and Nixon's reelections.

Not all Trump supporters are Teamsters Union thugs, but a lot of Teamsters Union thugs are Trump supporters.

Look for the Union lable.

From the linked article....

One of the very first rules they teach in Republican political candidate school is you never, never, NEVER inveigh against gun control laws in the immediate aftermath of a mass shooting like this.

You might offend somebody. Alienate women voters. Risk coming off as overly aggressive. Might invade some college students’ “safe space”.

But you know who never went to Republican political candidate school? Actual American voters. That’s who. And when Donald Trump breaks all the rules by ripping the president, questioning his religion and blaming gun control laws for a mass shooting, he is saying exactly what so many Americans were already thinking.

That is because Donald Trump - the great salesman-statesman - not only intimately understands the product he is selling (himself), he also has a deeply instinctual understanding of his customer (voters). He understands what they want, how they think and how to reach them.

And pretty much ever since, Mr. Trump has been just riding what has become the Third Rail of modern politics: the very real and bloody danger immigration and unsecured borders poses to Americans here at home today.

“We have no idea who these people are, we are the worst when it comes to paperwork,” said Mr. Trump, referring specifically to the Syrian refugees. “This could be one of the great Trojan horses.”

(By the way, when was the last time a candidate for president of the United States invoked Greek mythology? And they say Donald Trump isn’t sophisticated!)

“I’m putting people on notice that are coming here from Syria as part of this mass migration, that if I win, they’re going back.

“They could be ISIS... This could be one of the greatest tactical ploys of all time. A 200,000 man army maybe. I don’t know that it is, but it could be possible.”

Sure, it is tough talk and certainly threatens the sanctity of our “safe space.” But, then again, we are learning that the “safe spaces” are getting less and less safe.

At least until Donald Trump becomes president.

The TV people are afraid he won’t appear on their shows.

But now the Times has given him a big boost for Iowa by dumping on Carson big-time. You didn’t even have to turn the page—they killed him on page 1. They are extremely influential among the faithful.

Too much to hope for that they would actually be for him.

Trump has a 40 year history in the public eye, the primaries are the time to vet it. There is zero chance this liberal clown can win the general election.

LOL! Your statement is exactly why we can be sure that he's been so vetted that they will not be able to come up with any last minute scandals. They have taken similar pathetic swats at him with as much salient info as your statement - zero.

Many here at FR have had many years to either become donors or to actually donate to campaign funds, but they opt to tell us what we shouldn't do with no real data on what we should do. To them I say:

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader

PS - If you are one of those who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....

GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!

Donate to Cruz

Donate to FR

The “safe space” is also known as the rubber room. Straight jackets for them all!

.
The TV people are just following orders to support Trump, because they see him as their best hope to defeat the conservatives.

They know Jeb is not up to it, and Rubio is a paper battleship with his support for amnesty, so Trump has their support sewed up until the primaries are over.

Should he actually win, they would turn on him as they did with Romney.

They won’t need a new scandal. They will just start highlighting his most craziest moments to show how mentally unstable he is.

Megyn Kelly tried that, did not work.

Trump does not kowtow to political “correctness,” and it does not cost him support. He will just say, “Rosie O’Donnell,” and shrug it off. Nothing that went before his candidacy will count. At all.

Against Hillary? Are you kidding me?? Talk about dysfunction!! And Trump will not shy away from saying so.

There are plenty of reasons to question whether Trump’s policies would all be optimal. But being “afraid to hit the girl” is not the failing I expect to encounter in a Trump vs. Hillary race.

A little different if Hillary is not the nominee, which of course by rights she should not be. She should be kept off the ballot by the states on grounds that, while Senator and Secretary of State, she received “ present, emolument, office, or title” from foreign governments via the Clinton Foundation. And so did her husband partner in the form of exorbitant “honoraria” for speeches. But that assumes that purple/blue state governments have self respect, a fact not it evidence.

But any Democrat will engage in gratuitous insults to the Republican base; it’s what they do. So Trump need not change his style, actually. Just defend ordinary Americans, and then let loose when the Democrat gets personal in response. It’s the tar baby strategy, all over again.
