Trump is more his own man than all other candidates. Because all others must obey their rich donors.
How well do we know the man or where he intends to lead the nation? He is no more his own man, though, than any rich man. When do we get to look at something other than the showman? He reminds me of Nelson Rockefeller, whose breezy style many of us though attractive, or less vividly Wendell Wilkie, another wealthy man with the popular touch. Both men were rather Roseveltian, too.
