Everyone always DID HAVE ACCESS TO HEALTH INSURANCE AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, HEALTHCARE.

Well, that's true, but health insurance certainly wasn't affordable (it still isn't... surprise!) unless you had a company plan picking up a nice piece of the premium...

Today almost all of Obamacare is subsidized to a certain degree...to make it "affordable"

I know if I had to buy insurance on my own paying the full boat, I'd be like a lot of people going to the hospital and stiffing the taxpayers at the moment to get health care...

You are stiffing the taxpayer, anyways, with your subsidized ObamaCare. What’s the diff?

Isn’t there some group you can join? I know that is a rotten solution, but the dreaded AARP services people only 50 or so, if I’m right.
I have a friend who retired from the same bank as I did. I chose the insurance offered by the company and she chose Blue Cross for herself as an individual and at a reasonable premium. She has the better plan. I don’t doctor much, but she does more than I and she couldn’t be more pleased. This is, of course, before POTUS “fixed it.”
