2016 GOP presidential candidate Senator Rand Paul (R-KS) called into Kilmeade & Friends and talked about Senator Ted Cruz being rebuffed on the senate floor by republicans who failed to allow him a roll call vote, John Boehner stepping down as Speaker of the House, why he feels its important to be present for votes on the senate floor, defunding Planned Parenthood, why he thinks Scott Walker dropped out of the race as well as news coming out of the UN on Syria and Russia.

(AUDIO-AT-LINK)
Senator Ted Cruz being snubbed with not one republican granting him the procedural courtesy of a roll call vote.
Ted has chosen to make this really personal and chosen to call people dishonest in leadership and call them names which really goes against the decorum and also against the rules of the senate, and as a consequence he cant get anything done legislatively. He is pretty much done for and stifled and its really because of personal relationships, or lack of personal relationships, and it is a problem. I approach things a little different, I am still just as hardcore in saying what we are doing , I just chose not to call people liars on the senate floor and its just a matter of different perspectives on how best to get to the end result.(continued)

“Senator Rand Paul (R-KS)”
It really is just fly-over country to the elite.
So why have you kissed up to him? Please use what remains of your campaign cash and buy back your damn soul.
Also— I will NOT help you get re-elected next year.
Per RCP:
- 8th in Iowa at 3.8% (Cruz is in 3rd at 7.8%). Trump leads at 27%, Carson at 21%.
- 8th in New Hampshire at 3.7% Cruz is in 6th at 6.0%. Trump leads at 25.3%.
- 11th place in South Carolina, at 2.3%. Cruz is in 4th at 5.7. Trump leads at 34% to Carson's 19.0%.
- and finally, in the National polls he's in 10th Place at 2.4%. Cruz is in 6th place at 6.2%. Trump leads at 23.4%, Carson at 17.0%.
It certainly appears that Rand's star is fading, but a 4% increase in most of these polss would put him in the hunt, in 3rd or 4th place. He's lost that much over a few months. I saw another article suggesting he might be next to leave.
Essentially Rand and Cruz have kind of traded places in the last two months. Rand went from the back of the front-runners to the back of the second tier, and Cruz went from the back of the second tier to the back of the front-runners.
I don't know how much flex is still in the race, I suspect a lot. I still have trouble believing that Trump is going to lead going into the convention.
It's a weird race where someone like Cruz can feel pretty good about being in sixth place! (Which I'm sure he does, and he should.)
Bill Hemmer asked on Fox yesterday if he supported McConnell. Five times he refused to answer. That is the first sign they are part of the establishment, when they won’t give a straight answer to a simple question.
Yeah, that’s what we need, decorum. Like Harry Reid.
“(R-KS)”
Fox needs to focus on getting things right, Rand Paul is from Kentucky (KY).
That’s what generates the a$$ki$$ing $$$$$$$$$$.
Thankfully for Paul, FLAT OUT LYING (to a conservative) does not go against the ‘decorum’ of the Senate - for otherwise Paul would have to defend him.
Is that why Boehner couldn’t get anything done? Becuase he was too busy drinking, crying, and calling Cruz a jackass?
Senator Cruz is a Statesman, Rand. Not an apologist.
Rand is kinda crazy. Hate Rinos and hates conservatives.
The WASHINGTONIANS don’t think like us.
DC needs to be shut down, rotate the Capitol among the States.
The “Senate” is full of liars and thieves.
To hell with them and their rules.
no no NO! thats Decor...Yum!!!
Isn’t lying to fellow Senators against the tradition and decorum of the Senate? At least when they want it to be. Rand as a fellow Kentuckian why don’t you ask McConnell to step down. McConnell is the one hurting the Nation, GOP, and Conservatives, not Senator Cruz.
Too bad Rand can’t take rejection of his libertarian ways.
We don’t want Cruz to be chummy with the RINOS and GOPe. Call a spade a spade!
