Marco Rubio wants no part of Donald Trump’s “freak show,” the Florida senator said in an NPR interview aired Monday.
“I’m not interested in the back and forth — to be a member or a part of his freak show,” the Republican presidential candidate remarked. “I would just say this: He is a very sensitive person; he doesn’t like to be criticized. He responds to criticism very poorly.”
The comments echo what Rubio told Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly last Thursday, when he called the billionaire mogul “thin-skinned and sensitive to criticism” and someone who “can’t have a conversation about policy because quite frankly he doesn’t know anything about policy.”
For his part, Trump has repeatedly called out Rubio for his attendance record in the Senate, calling him “a kid,” “overly ambitious” and “too young” and joking that he has better hair than the 44-year-old senator. He also dinged him for his finances, for being “disloyal” to former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and for his alleged propensity to sweat.
“I’ve never seen a young guy sweat so much,” Trump said in South Carolina last week, referring to Rubio’s appearance at the second GOP presidential debate, when all the candidates stood on a hot stage for more than three hours. “He’s drinking water, water, water; I never saw anything like this with him with the water.”
We need more like him.

M. Rubio wants amnesty, many of the illegal aliens true freaks. And he calls a large percentage of Republicas “freak show.”
It must be very frustrating for Flop Sweat Rubio, waiting for his voice to finally change.
Mr Sparkles of Florida has worn out his welcome at my house. I dismissed his cramnesty of 8 as a novice ploy of a junior in the House of Lords, maybe even well intended. The more recent whispers in his Latino courtship in a foreign tongue tells me he has an agenda other than what he projects to whiteys. Racist in practice in that he seeks to exclude.
Such conduct is unworthy of office and unAmerican.
Let’s move the Freak Show to the White House to replace the real freak show that’s already there.
