The new math.....if you are leading the field with 21%, you are NOT a front-runner! At least they could have said we now have 2 front-runners. But noooooooooooo!! They must write stuff to make Trump look as bad as possible.

Libs are terrified of “President Trump” ... So libs concoct a poll that tries to establish the narrative that Trump is no-longer leading... Sure, seems legit... I’m sure libs would *never* skew results to support their message.

The big reason Carson is doing well is that he’s acting like Trump in not backing down. When he goes squish, his numbers will drop.

Trump’s strategy was to first eliminate Bush. I would say that has almost nearly been accomplished already.

RCP Average 9/17 - 9/24

Trump 23.4
Carson 17.0
Fiorina 11.6
Rubio 9.6
Bush 9.2
Cruz 6.2

In my math, Trump looks like a front runner.

Donald Trump's front-runner status has virtually evaporated in a single poll

Fixed

This is funny. He’s still at the top and hasn’t lost a point in the polls. The difference is the reshuffle among the competitors. Trump and Carson still share the tope spot with Carson gaining most at this point from the loss of other candidates. The media desperately want to deflate Trump as does the GOP-E and they even tried to rig a couple polls the CNN/ORG one was really bad and the Gravity one in NH by GOP-E hacks really was shameless in trying to elevate Fiorina but the real story is how it hasn’t worked. They failed to destroy both Trump and Carson and what has been demonstrated by both of these candidates is a resilience that won’t be easy to erode.

The only thing at this point that could truly mix things up is if Jeb Bush dropped out which is probably the best hope of the GOP-E of competing with Trump and Carson is to thin their own herd. I of course think they are doomed. People are not gravitating from one shiny object to another. They are choosing Trump and Carson and even more so emphatically NOT choosing the establishment.

If Jeb Bush had Trump’s numbers or Carson’s they’d be crowning him Nominee apparent.

Once again the media doesn’t even mention Ted Cruz.
He’s almost tied with Carson.
Without the outsiders, Cruz would be on top.

Why did they only poll 476 people with only 230 of them being republicans?

What’s the point of such a small sample with such a high margin of error?

Monsieur Rove promised the attacks on the Donald would be unleased after Labor Day. And here we are Day 20 after and the Donald has been deposed, removed, obliterated. It took only 20 days!

Hey! Will Rove pay me for writing this sh*t? Where’s my $$$?

The important point is that support is strong for folks previously outside the political system.

Just to note ...

Trump swears to repeal and replace Obamacare about three minutes into this interview of August 12 with Lou Dobbs. Sounds good ... until you listen carefully and learn that Trump wants to replace it with "something better."

"It can be a great form of insurance and much less money," Trump concludes in this interview.

What IT is ... is Obamacare done Trump Style. IT is still going to be there. That is why Obamacare is not a main campaign issue for Trump. He's on board with the concept and ready to tweak it "right" Trump-style. The unconstitutional tyranny of the concept itself is unchallenged. Therefore, drive to repeal it will be weak.

Cruz says: "I promise you that if you do not campaign on repealing Obamacare, you ain't gonna repeal Obamacare."

Please see and hear 6 minutes into this speech to the Heritage Foundation from Ted Cruz where he talks about Obamacare.

It's a make-or-break issue for this conservative voter, entropy. I refuse to vote for a president who will go along with the premise or concept of Obamacare. Cruz recognizes the sheer betrayal of the Constitution that it is. He is the only candidate who does, and the only candidate who earns my vote. Voting is a one-way street, only in the direction "for."

the only R’s that seem to have lots of support among everyone we know and meet are Trump (”because he has the style to win”) and Cruz (”because he’s right on most of the major issues”).

your experience may vary

Trump has plateaued and should begin the decent soon.
When that happens it will be like a snowball rolling down a hill because Trump will have no clue how to handle adversity and falling poll numbers.
I suspect if he believes that he can continue to get more mileage in the next debate by calling the other candidates idiots and disasters and continue with his two legged stool foreign policy, 1.) “I will talk to Putin”, 2.)”I don’t want to reveal my strategy to my enemies”, than the free fall post debate should commence nicely.

There are no signs that Trump is anymore conservative than Shillary. There are no signs that he has a clue about foreign policy. There are no signs that he has the capability to do anything other than hammer the establishment and yet this is apparently what is enough these days to some.
