I hope your assessment isn’t only from the debates. I enjoyed his speech at the Values Voter Summit. When he speaks sometimes I can see him at the Supreme Court, but I like that over a tv show. One is restrained and persuasive, the other is exaggerated and domineering.

To my way of thinking, you’re looking at a good cop/bad cop situation. Trump works them over and sends in Cruz. They’re so happy not to have to face Trump, they quickly make a good deal for us.
I would like to see Trump/Cruz, Cruz/whoever, and Cruz on the SCOTUS.

Nice pic of Trump/Cruz families. Would be a good ticket from an attractive families point of view. Cruz paired with Carson would invoke too great a snooze factor.

I also thought Cruz would be great on the SCOTUS. If it was trump/Cruz and trump had to appoint a SCJ, what type of judge would he nominate and would the judge be a Scalia, who interprets the Constitution as any academic interprets literature (according to historical context) or as Justice Breyer, who interprets law according to the views of the world?
