I voted for Santorum last time and I remember a lot of commentary about Romney’s less than sterling conservative record. Evidently you weren’t paying attention.
I voted for Newt in primary. And voted for Romney in general because he was more conservative on some issues than Obama, and not any more liberal than Obama on any issue.
