It used to be that Luntz WAS the smartest guy in the room when it came to running focus groups. I met him back in 1993 during an Empower America campaign finance and administration seminar. Seemed to be a nice guy, well grounded and smart back then.
Now? Meh, not so much.
Apparently he isn’t really so interested in finding out how people think on issues as he is about making sure they think the way the establishment wants them to.
