From my perspective, the only GOP candidate that hasn’t fatally damaged him/herself in Trump pile-on is Ted Cruz.
Whether that’s by design or chance may never be known.
Regardless, should Trump eventually pull out or be eliminated, he has done thinking voters a great service.

I thought at the time that it was the only logical position for Cruz to take. There was no need to join the COPe chorus - which was reason enough not to do so.
