I don’t understand the support for Trump. Cruz has been saying the same things, and more intelligently, before trump came along. Actually, maybe I do.... the media fears Cruz and they’re betting Trump will crash and burn.
Love Cruz, too. But he has an achilles heel like all the rest, except Trump. He needs support from donors. Trump really doesn’t. We need Trump for at least the first 4 years.

Cruz is not the master promoter that Trump is. Trump has been able to put those Cruz issues front and center and to voice Cruz's positions on those issues without backing down to media/Democrat and GOPe bullying. He has thereby won the support of the mob in a battle against the insiders.
But I look at Trump as Cruz's Icebreaker because when the media and or the GOPe finally do Trump in, the only one Trump and his fans can turn their support to is Cruz.
