The number he gave for current levels was low (675,000 I think), but even taking his number, that means he wanted an additional 400,000+ increase outside of the 500% increase in H1Bs.

Thank you to bring this topic up again. Finally I did my own search and found that Ted Cruz's reason in this subject is consistent with Conservative principle as I have thought that it would be.
