Sarah Palin stands with Donald Trump, comes out swinging
CNN Politics ^ | July 31, 2015 | Jeremy Diamond

Days after Donald Trump talked up the idea of putting Sarah Palin in his administration, the former Republican vice presidential candidate and tea party favorite is showing she's got Trump's back.

Palin wrote Friday on the conservative Breitbart news site that Trump's candidacy will continue to appeal to "ordinary Americans" despite what she described as a bludgeon of attacks from GOP elites, pundits and the media.

Calling Trump's candidacy "a shot in the arm for ordinary Americans fed up with the predictable poll-tested blather of squishy milquetoast career politicians," Palin argued that Trump's style and message is appealing to voters and that he is tapping into "major populist grievances."

And Palin also defended Trump from criticism that is bubbling up in certain conservative circles that Trump's flip-flops on key conservative issues prove he is not a true conservative.

"'But he changed his mind on positions!'" Palin wrote, echoing recent criticisms. "Reagan had been an FDR Democrat. Should we hold that against him or be grateful he saw the light?"

Palin also defended Trump's contributions to Democratic campaign coffers, arguing in the same way Trump has that those donations are the cost of business in the largely liberal city of New York....

Hate to repeat myself (on another thread yesterday), but it does appear Mr. Trump is strategizing, implementing, and assembling “ Trevour Loudon’s 2nd American Revolution “ ~

Or as some started calling it ... A Dream Team

Best observations I’ve read here in a long time.
As the owner stated recently, we’re all in this together in a fight for our country and our way of life.

There was an article by *sundance on theconservativetreehouse.com that discussed the nervousness of the Establishment losing to a Trump nomination and his possible win in the general.

This would mean they would all be unappreciated by Trump, likely swept out and replaced. His cabinet would be filled with like minded and well represented by conservatives.

Think how K Street would be challenged!

That doesn’t sound very rational, when you consider all the shit she’s been through. And she’s still out there in the fight swinging.

No, it’s all hands on deck, damn the torpedoes full speed ahead. Never give up, never surrender.

Oh, yes, I actually have infra view, but have only ever used it to resize photos. It is an awesome program, and you certainly are using it well!

I particularly like the historic reflection of using our past to the relevance of today that you used.

We need to go back, before we can go forward ... Like to the words of our Founding Documents, our great Leaders, the Bible, and God.

Thanks for sharing the info and your work! It’s impressive!

I heard Trump say that the 35% threat was going to stop the Ford plant in Mexico in it`s tracks, and that they would change their mind and build in USA

Yup, I heard the same thing. How can a 35% tariff help the American consumer? It just narrows their choices because of government interference.

Why did Ford move to Mexico in the first place? Trump makes it sound like it was a political decision. It was a BUSINESS decision based on finding the most economic friendly location. There are cost-benefit reasons for Ford moving to Mexico. What good does it do anyone to “force” Ford to move back to the U.S. and go under or become a non player in the competitive market?

Companies in the U.S. cannot compete BECAUSE of the artificially high cost of doing business here. Cost are forced higher by the federal government with measures like forced minimum wage and union protection. The answer is not MORE government interference and cost/price-raising measures like tariffs - the answer is LESS government interference.

The free market is a friend to business. Government has never been, is not, nor ever will be a friend to business. Socialism is the enemy of a robust and wealthy economy. Government may meddle with subsidies to their favorite special-interest donors and lobbyists but business and the economy in general lose when government gets involved.

I like Trump but he fails to identify root causes and his proposals not only miss the mark, they make matters worse.

I am for Trump, I was just saying...A 2.5 million dollar plant in Mexico has not yet been built, Donald if President this minute would be on the phone to Ford telling them of this 35% tax

He said they would call back the next day and say, never mind we wont build in Mexico... I like what he was saying, I was NOT finding fault with him.

You can get into stuff like, can he make all that happen on his own as President? Well nobody can do it all on their own, but he could use the bully pulpit.

McCain joined with the media to label Palin stupid.......He had to. He knew the only reason he got any votes was because of Palin. His ego, status and manliness would have been degraded if he hadn’t.

No, I didn't think you were criticizing Trump. But I was - even though I like him.

But did you read my post?

I mean, the questions that should be asked here are,

Why did Ford move to Mexico in the first place? What good does it do anyone to “force” Ford to move back to the U.S. and go under or become a non player in the competitive market?

What is/are the root causes of our weak economy?

Companies in the U.S. cannot compete because of the artificially HIGH COST of doing business here which in turn is caused by federal government interference with things like forced minimum wage and union protection. The answer is not MORE government interference like tariffs that raise prices and costs - the answer is LESS government interference.

Trump fails to identify root causes and his tariff proposals not only miss the mark, they make matters worse.

I guess there is always things we are asked to overlook about people. I like Cruz but think Trump will have a better chance of winning, there are democrats and IND that are going to vote for Trump in spite of how the MSM is reporting it all.

I want Trump to sign some type of sworn promise that he will appoint Conservative Justices to the High Court.
