In an interview on Saturday on MSNBC's The Melissa Harris-Perry Show, Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors declared that “any opportunity we have to shut down a Republican convention, we will,” the Daily Surge reports.
Guest host Janet Mock, who seemed star-struck by Cullors, asked her to specify the actions she wants presidential candidates to take "for what the movement is calling for." Cullors answered, First off, we want candidates to actually call movement leaders sit and have meetings with us, have a conversation with us about what’s happened this last year since the murder of Mike Brown.
"Mike Brown" refers to Michael Brown, the black suspect killed by a white cop he attacked in Ferguson, Missouri, sparking the Black Lives Matter movement.

The fact that the story behind the Brown shooting was all made up and a fabricated lie, is of no consequence here. These people are unbelievable. Yet the media give them a pass.
I think I’d package up a two-minute piece with Civil War pictures and impact images, with Bob Dylan’s The Times Are A Changing, and identify which party stood for what, and why that matters 150 years later. Every time someone tries to interrupt the convention....run the two-minute piece again and again. The networks will beg the protesters to quit because the national audience is getting a mega dose of reality.
They don’t want a real conversation.
They want people like us to sit there and take their verbal abuse.

Because of course St. Louis, Baltimore, NYC etc where the most notable incidence have happen are and have for years been under GOP control, RIGHT?

Why do I have this nagging feeling that if a ‘White Leader’ (I am sure there is one somewhere) made such a statement in regards to a Black Gathering or Liberal Gathering, at the very least he would get audited out of contention, if not having ‘people’ knocking on his door.
These clowns - with impunity - regularly threaten people (read White cops, White Hispanics, etc) with mayhem and there is nary a peep.
Since there will be Presidential Candidates with SS protection, shouldn’t the SS be addressing this fool and admonishing the networks for giving them a soap box?
