Mark my words, all you who are falling for Trumps act are going to regret it.

I have no idea what is going on here. Either FR has been invaded by libs, Trump has hired minions to flood conservative message boards, or I am in the twilight zone.

Because NOTHING else makes any sense!

Why are so many so desperate to win that they would push this obvious liberal fraud on us? Do you not understand or grasp that Trump will turn on us once elected? You DO understand that right? There is a good reason he wont fill in the details on ANYTHING, because the devil is in the details and the details are the parts he knows we wont like, so he is leaving those out.

Why do you think Trump would be any worse than what we have now?

What has news from NH & IA got to do with FR?
Are you not interested in what is happening out there?
It is not difficult to see why Trump is surging.
It is mainly because politicians give speeches but no action.

2008-2010
First they said they couldn’t do anything because they didn’t have the Presidency, House or Senate.

2010-2014
Then they said they couldn’t do anything because Harry Reid was blocking everything in the Senate.

2014-2016
Then they said they couldn’t do anything until the 2016 elections because Obama would veto.

2016-2018
Now they are saying they won’t be able to do anything even with a Republican President because too many Senate seats are up for grabs in 2018.

They promised us they would defund Obamacare. All talk, no action. They said they would reduce regulations on small businesses. All talk, more speeches, no action.

Republicans control purse strings for 5 years through control of the House. What have they done? All talk, no action!

Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump holds …

Ah Texas... you continue to miss the whole point of this exercise! That is too bad since you are from Texas and surely disappointed with our current RINO Republicans in Washington.

So I would ask you, just what are you hoping for in this election? Do you really think that another Washington assigned candidate will be your savior? Another milk toast Republican/Democrat to lead us into more debt while thumbing their noses at the public?

Don’t you think that it is high time to shake that tree?

Really, how can Trump be any worse than what we now have?

Do you not grasp that the Majority of GOP House and Senators
turn on us every single day?

Do you trust Bonehead and McConnell?

We do not know what Trump will do. It is too early to tell.

But we do know that the GOP House and Senators turn on conservatives
every day, don’t we?

How hard is it for you to understand that Trumps current strength comes
from GOP weakness and broken promises.
Fix the GOP weakness and broken promises and you won’t have to worry
about Trumps and Perot’s.

It’s a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow.

Does this clear things up?

You’re in the twilight zone. You’ve apparently missed the great dissatisfaction on FR with how our elected Republicans act once they are in office.

Do you really think Trump will be worse than the RINOs we keep electing?

And you’re wrong about Trump not filling in the details. He’s had a 5 point plan of what he plans to do. You’ve either not paid attention or the plan goes over you head so you ignore it.

The answer to your question is in the question, in that you appear to have put the cart before the horse; He is not a politician, he is a businessman doing what he has to do to make a buck. If one of his clients likes pink neckties, that is what he will wear. You are looking at political affiliation as a harbinger of what is to come and to him it is relatively unimportant, the deal is. Most of us, who know the difference between Republicans and conservatives, have a hard time with this but from his perspective it makes perfect sense.

There is a human side to this too. Trump in at that time of life when he is wondering what he has done with his life. He gives an immense amount to charities but so what. Put yourself in his place and you may more understand that he sees a challenge, his country is in trouble, and he is in a place to do something about it. What a capstone to his life! He could be right up there with Reagan. Would you do that? I probably would, and I bet a lot of other Americans would step up to the plate in similar circumstances. IMOH.

Would you rather have a candidate that runs as a conservatives like W did and then spends more money than all presidents combined before him while overseeing the biggest expansion of welfare since the 1960s? If Trump had not gotten in the GOP-E was going to use the tried and true formula of letting the conservatives snipe each other off to get JEB in just like they did with Dole, McCain, and Romney. Trump has at least disrupted that plan and brought up issues the GOP-E would sorely love to ignore like our border disaster and how we always get screwed on trade deals the crony GOP-E loves. I do not know how Trump will end up but if he does get elected and only secures the border, gets rid of criminal aliens and disappoints on everything else he will have done more for the USA than any president since Reagan. I personally want Cruz to win but I would feel better voting for Trump than I would for JEB, Graham, Rubio or just about any of the other amnesty supporting candidates.

“Either FR has been invaded by libs”

If so, they did a LOT OF WORK to come up with an 18,000 comment posting history just for me. You’ll find most other Trump supporters also date back years and have thousands of posts. You’ll also find that our posts have been archived by Google, so it would take quite a conspiracy for us to be fakes.

“Trump has hired minions to flood conservative message boards”

Doesn’t work here, due to what I mentioned above.

“or I am in the twilight zone.”

More likely you don’t feel double-crossed by Republicans for some reason. Just today there is an article about REPUBLICANS in the Senate leading the charge to impose Internet Sales Taxes. How many Republicans ran on that promise? Look at Ted Cruz over the weekend - he was PROMISED something privately by McConnell and then found out it was a BIG LIE. He is OUR HERO (at least my hero) and he got screwed-over royally. And don’t be surprised if Cruz bolts the Republican Party over this.

We’re done - we held our noses in the last two presidential elections and voted for the candidate that Karl Rove dumped on us, and lost anyway. This time if we lose, at least it will be someone WE ACTUALLY WANT - but what Rove and the others REALLY FEAR is that our candidate just may win.
