I would guess that there are only 10 Senators not completely under the McConnell/Reid thumb.

The leaders wagged their fingers at the younger senator, accusing him of using his pedestal in the upper chamber to "pursue personal ambitions." The cad.
How much taxpayer money did these "leaders" spend today?

I don’t need to read any more of the HuffPos BS article about Senator Cruz!
If the HuffPo is pissed, then Senator Cruz is doing just fine!
Keep up the good work, Senator!

Cruz and Lee have been getting plenty of praise on twitter while McConnell is getting pounded by both sides of the aisle.

McConnell is a liar. Trump Speak, call them what they are.
Notice other liars came out to defend him, pleases, please, don’t him a liar.
Why won’t McConnell address Cruz directly. Oh that would be telling the truth

Did Mitch lie or didn’t he? If he did, he needs to shut up. This is like the PTB saying nothing re the planned parenthood horrors and investigating the people who shot the video.

Their treatment of Ted Cruz is solid evidence of the rank corruption up there.

I heard him on C-Span. Sooooo disappointed in the other Republicans.

They can’t stand the heat because the people are seeing that they all lie...all the time. Cruz has torn the veil away and they would really like for him to sink in the polls, or apologize, or something. I hope he wins the nomination.

That may need to be what happens, though I would somewhat prefer Walker to Trump. Some say a third party run hands it to the Hildabeast on a platter, but I’m not so sure.

The fact is, these old time crooks are treading on very thin ice. Trump has obvious FU money, so they are powerless over him. Cruz, it appears, may be funded by the kind of money that says he doesn't need these chickenturds from the beltway party either.
They may not need to put on the suicide belt of a third party. Maybe all they need is to continue to tell the truth.

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn (R).

Snip:
In an impassioned 12-minute speech, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), who serves as pro tempore of the Senate, took to the floor to scold Cruz for his comments about McConnell.
