Nikki Haley (R) said Monday afternoon, in a televised address to the nation, of the soon-to-be-retired Confederate flag that has flown on the state capitol grounds for decades. And so long as GOP state legislators follow their governor and their party, after 150 years, South Carolina will no longer endorse the Confederate battle flag, but will consign it to a museum to recognize, as Haley emphasized in her address, its place in the state's history.

Though not as bad as Lindsey Graham who, after 22 years of holding elective office in South Carolina, suddenly decided yesterday that it was a problem.

Without the old Southern boys, we have zero chance to win Virginia, North Carolina will clearly lean Democrat, Georgia is close to 50-50, and, without huge turnout in the panhandle, Florida cannot be won.
Politically, the Republican Party is finished.
We stand for nothing, we fight for nothing, we defend nothing.
The American populace is badly disintegrated and largely leaderless. Leftist propaganda dividing us into squabbling groups has been successful.
Conservatives have not had a serious national leader since the Newt Gingrich Congressional Revolution in 1994.
But Newt was completely stunned and unprepared for the full court Democrat and MSM counter-attack that hit him in 1995.
How did he respond?

Then he moved further to the Left.
